A retirement reception will be held on Tuesday, December 8th from 1:30 to 3pm in the Marc L. Burnett Student Recreation and Fitness Center for the long-time Director, David Mullinax. Mr. Mullinax is retiring from Tech after 29 years of service to the campus community. The reception will be held in the lobby of the new fitness center, where he will welcome colleagues and friends. There will be individually wrapped cookies served, a guest book to sign, and a plaque presentation. Please make plans to stop by and give your congrats and well wishes.

Huge congratulations to Zachary Plattner!
The Upper Cumberland Business Journal just published Zach’s (Accounting Senior) book review on How I Built This by Guy Raz. This semester, Mr. Plattner worked very hard to complete the assignment for his Business Communications course.

Pantry Hours – Finals Week
The Campus Food Pantry will be open during finals week, but not its regular hours.
We will be open the following hours:

- Tuesday 10am – 1pm

- Wednesday 10am – 1pm
- Thursday 1pm – 5pm

After finals, we will only have the auxiliary pantry open until our volunteers are back in January.
The auxiliary pantry is located behind the front desk in the library and is available any hours that the library is open. Ask the front desk attendant to escort you back there.

Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar: Physics Advanced Laboratory Presentations
This week’s (virtual) Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar will feature Dakota Bowser and Damien DeArmitt who will present some of their work from the Physics Department’s Advanced Laboratory class. Dakota will discuss his use of a spherical pendulum to measure a magnetic moment, and Damien will describe some applications of a Michelson Interferometer. The presentations will be this Friday, December 4th at 4pm.
