Join the Data Science League for their second meeting of Fall 2020 with guest speaker Dr. Edwin Baidoo. Learn how Dr. Baidoo uses Data Science to answer business questions and watch a demonstration on determining which products are “joined together” using R. Dr. Baidoo will also introduce attendees to the Business Analytics program where students learn how to utilize common tools and analytics techniques to solve business problems.

Digital Exhibits on the Leona Lusk Officer Black Cultural Center
The Leona Lusk Officer Black Cultural Center is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year! The Tennessee Tech Archives is partnering with Multicultural Affairs to curate a series of three digital exhibits on the Center’s history and the history of Black students, faculty, and staff at Tennessee Tech.
The first exhibit covers events held by the Center from 1990 to 2019. The exhibit features over 55 photographs, flyers, programs, invitations, clippings, and other documents that show the range of the Center’s activities.

The RPPR is a uniform format for reporting performance progress on Federally funded research projects and research-related activities. NSF awardees use the RPPR to prepare and submit annual and final project reports to NSF. Further details about the RPPR can be found on the Research.gov About Project Reports website. Learn How YOU Can Get Involved With Rural Reimagined
Rural Reimagined has many opportunities for students to get involved in transforming rural living this semester through science, technology, and innovation. If you’re interested and want to know how YOU can get involved, look no further. Consider joining the Rural Reimagined Club (RRC). Kester Nucum, RRC President, states, “The Rural Reimagined Club’s mission is to build awareness and advocacy for rural communities. We want our members not only to be informed of the relevant and pressing issues facing rural areas, but we also want to connect them with opportunities to pursue their passions and interests while serving these communities.” Other RR opportunities include academic credit hour and paid internships, which are all designed to specifically meet your goals and interests. Additionally, Rural Reimagined has many opportunities for paid student worker positions and service-learning options. Alumni Association seeks nominations for 2021 Alumni Awards
The Alumni Association annually presents awards to individuals who have demonstrated professional success or recognition among the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Tennessee Tech. Individuals are recognized in the following categories: Distinguished Alumnus Award, Outstanding Young Alumnus Award, Outstanding Service Award, and Outstanding Philanthropy Award. If you know any Tech alumni who are deserving of such an award, we hope you’ll nominate them.
