Lambda GSA’s Quingo Game And Welcome Meeting
We at Lambda GSA want to welcome you this semester with our first meeting of the year. We will be meeting Monday, August 24th at 6:30 pm on our Discord server. For those who feel the need for a physical queer safe space, we have reserved BELL 232. We want to keep interactions as safe as possible, so online presence is preferred but we will have the room available as needed. Parking Near Construction Areas
With construction occurring on campus, we would like to remind students not to park inside or alongside construction fences, particularly in the dorm areas. If you are a resident and cannot find a parking spot in a green residential zone, you are also allowed to park in a red or purple zone. Vehicles obstructing traffic or obstructing construction access are subject to be towed at owner’s expense.

Forward Into Light Suffrage Celebration – Wednesday
Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment and women’s right to vote at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, on Centennial Plaza (rain location Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room). Join the Women’s Center as we take part in the nationwide Forward Into Light Campaign where buildings across the country will light up in purple and gold (the colors of the Women’s Suffrage movement and Tech!) on this date. There will be displays, activities, snacks, and giveaways.

Pelican’s Snoballs Sprirt Night for ACS
Celebrate the start of the new semester with a snoball from Pelican’s Snoballs on Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 4-8 p.m.! Bicycle Thieves operating in Tech area
My bicycle got stolen from outside my building in broad daylight. I would suggest using a big solid u-shaped lock and fasten your frame to one of the more solid bicycle racks available some places on campus. I borrowed a bicycle for current use. I am using a hand rail on the back of my building because the bicycle racks at my building are not designed for these style locks. It is out of the way, not blocking access in any way. Stay safe out there! Bike on!

Paying on Your Student Account
Many questions regarding your student account, making payments, selecting meal plans and parking permits, refunds, and enrolling in deferred payment plans can be answered using our tutorial videos and downloadable resources.
Having trouble paying and confirming your account by August 22, 2020? If so, you can extend your deadline by enrolling in Save Your Seat.
Payments can be made online 24/7 by students or their authorized users.

Enter Derryberry Hall 1st floor from the east entrance only and exit through the west entrance only.
Students needing assistance from the Bursar and Business Office will enter a queue on the east end of the first floor with clear exterior signage directing them to the correct door. Once in the queue students will be directed where to receive service in a socially distanced manner. Questions and help are also available by emailing bursar@tntech.edu.
Anyone needing to access the second, third, or fourth floors of the building should use the main 2nd floor front entrance or the first floor stairwell through the designated east entrance to the building. Please also use the east entrance for elevator access.
