Womack Lecture on November 10th
The History Department will be holding its annual Womack Lecture on Wednesday, November 10th at 6:00 p.m. in Derryberry Hall auditorium. Pied for the Pantry
This Thursday from 11 AM – 1 PM on the backyard of the Roaden University Center, the staff of New Hall North and Jobe/Murphy as well as the Campus Police Department will host a “Pied for the Pantry” event, raising money for the campus food pantry. For $1 you can step up and choose which TN Tech Employee you would like to pie in the face for charity.

Campus Master Plan Update Information Session
You are invited to attend an informational session on the Campus Master Plan update. The Master Plan guides the university’s construction and facilities. Garry Askew with Bauer Askew Architecture will be on campus Tuesday November 16th 10:00-11:30 in Jere Whitson Auditorium to provide information.

Donate to the Women’s Center’s Period Poverty Drive – all month
1 in 5 first-generation college students experience period poverty – the lack of access to menstruation supplies and hygiene facilities. Help the Women’s Center fight period poverty at Tech by dropping off tampons, pads, sanitary wipes, or other related items to the Women’s Center (RUC 339) throughout November. Prescott Hall Construction
Construction of an equipment pad and screen wall will begin the week of November 8 at the northeast end of Prescott Hall. This project will be complete (dependent on weather) in mid-December. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Call for Submission: Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments for 2022-2023
Proposals are now being accepted for the 2022-2023 academic year for faculty seeking Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments. The purposes of the non-instructional assignments are: to contribute to the professional growth of the faculty; to improve the teaching and the curriculum across the University; and/or to enhance the scholarship and academic excellence of the University in ways that cannot be accomplished under the constraints of the regular workload assignments. Submission Deadlines: Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 – Suggested Deadline for Proposals to Department Chairs; Friday, January 28, 2022 – Deadline for Proposals to Academic Affairs. Tennessee Tech Homecoming Week 2021
Welcome to the 2021 Tennessee Tech Homecoming Week! Many great events will take place for both students and the campus community celebrating the theme of “Tech Back In Time: Homecoming Through The Decades”. Monday, November 8th brings the homecoming banners back to the RUC lobby. The banners will be displayed throughout the week. Tuesday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. in Derryberry Hall Auditorium will be the student organization skit night with entertaining performances focused on their individual themes. Wednesday, November 10th will be the opportunity to give back to the students with the Tennessee Tech Food Pantry Crowdfunding Drive. To donate please visit www.tntech.edu/homecoming. This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card for a quick sign-in.
