Project AWAKEN’s Fall 2020 Newsletter
Project AWAKEN is dedicated to the belief that no one should experience sexual assault, domestic/dating violence, or stalking. AWAKEN works to eliminate violence from happening, to train bystanders on active interventions, to improve professional responses to survivors on campus and in the community, and to serve as an empowering, confidential resource for survivors.
Be sure to check out Project AWAKEN’s newest newsletter, which is now available at https://www.tntech.edu/awaken/newsletters.php. It’s on all of us to prevent violence from happening and to support survivors!

Mental Health with Lambda
We at Lambda GSA want to welcome you to our second meeting of the year. We will be meeting Monday, August 31st at 6:30 pm on our Discord server. For those who feel the need for a physical queer safe space, we have reserved BELL 232. We want to keep interactions as safe as possible, so online presence is preferred but we will have the room available as needed. For this meeting, we will be discussing a very important topic: Mental Health. We will be talking about how to accept when we need help for our mental health and how to get access to that. Mental health is so important, especially during these very trying times we currently find ourselves in. We invite each and everyone of you to join us if you are interested. Everyone is welcome in our club. We hope to see some new faces and some old this year. If you would like to be informed of meetings directly or have questions, we invite you to email us at ttu.lambda@gmail.com or join our Discord server https://discord.gg/CMGmpf
