Graduate School and Your HOPE Scholarship
Great news for HOPE scholarship recipients. If you are graduating in May AND have not used the whole five years of your HOPE Scholarship AND you want to attend graduate school in the fall, you may be eligible to attend graduate school using your remaining HOPE funds. To find out if you are eligible, contact the Office of Financial Aid today!

3rd Annual Light the Night
Please consider joining Phi Epsilon Kappa on the Quad as we “Light the Night” on Tuesday, April 23 from 7:30-9:00 pm. “Light the Night” is a glow walk intended to raise awareness for organ donation and transplants. We will have free t-shirts, glow sticks, and glow paint for students (while supplies last) as well as a dunk tank and recreational games on the quad as we celebrate and recognize National Donate Life Month.

Free Coffee Cart hosted by the Wesley Foundation!
Join the TNTech Wesley Foundation and Pr Club for some free coffee Wednesday April 17th from 8:50-10:50! Every week the Wesley foundation provides great coffee and great vibes, so the PR Club is teaming up with them to help promote it! We will be next to the solar charging station near Clement Hall.

Title VI-Limited English Proficiency
Under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, schools receiving federal funds must take reasonable steps to ensure that individuals with limited ability to speak and understand English have meaningful access to university programs and activities. Failure to provide meaningful access may constitute discrimination based on national origin.
In order to comply with Title VI, Tennessee Tech partners with Linguistica International, a translation service. Linguistica offers translation services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in over 250 languages. For more information contact the Title VI Coordinator, compliance@tntech.edu or 931-372-6005.

CITL: Campus Pulse & Course Design
Are you utilizing our students’ most requested tools & techniques? Join us as we share results from Spring 2024’s Small Group Instructional Diagnostics (SGIDs). In this session, we will share what this semester’s small groups said about what’s supporting their learning, what’s hindering their learning, and what suggestions they have to improve their learning. The instructional designers will share how-to strategies for incorporating students’ favorite learning methods and resources for both online and in-person instruction. Chemours Co-op Presentation- April 16 at 11
You’re invited to attend an informational session with representatives from Chemours on Tuesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. in LSC 1211 to learn about co-op opportunities at their New Johnsonville, TN location for chemistry and chemical engineering students starting in Fall 2024. Representatives include a chemist and two engineers, and they will provide information on the positions that are open and answer questions. Pizza will be provided. The Post reminds students to claim mail and packages by May 10
The Post reminds students that any graduating or non-returning student must retrieve all mail/packages by Friday, May 10.
Beginning on this date, any mail/packages received before April 29 will be flagged for return to sender. The post will hold mail/packages for returning students who receive items after April 29. The Post will not be responsible for any lost or damaged letters/parcels.
Students can contact the post at 931-372-3282 and can retrieve mail Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until the end of the semester at their location on the ground floor of the RUC.

Collegiate 4-H Club
We are excited to announce the beginning of the Collegiate 4-H Club on TTU’s campus. This club was formed to create a family within our Tech community, we want to bring people together to better the community and each other! We are going to focus on community service work, youth development, and personal development in our club.

Mad Topics Symposium – A Success for Our College, University, and Community!
“I am not alone” – A Mad Topics symposium attendee regarding the event on Monday (4/8). Over 100 students, educators, licensed professionals, and community members attended to learn about OCD and ADHD in education (more watched the live stream!). You can watch and/or share the recording using this link. Hear Dr. Simone speak more about the panel and OCD/ADHD on Good Morning Cookeville with Sheila and Jason on 107.7 here. Dr. Culkin’s book, OCD and Marriage, can still be purchased through Dr. Simone ($20 each, or $15 for students), and those who purchase a book will also get a free Mad Topics t-shirt while supplies last (email ksimone@tntech.edu).
