Have you ever wanted to join a book club? Join us for the first meeting of the English Club in Henderson Hall 216B on Tuesday, 9/2, during dead hour! Take a break as we discuss the exciting events we have planned for the semester! Our primary goal is to choose one book to read by November, leading to a group discussion. Bring your best book suggestions and we will vote! There are snacks, so come for the books but stay for the sweets!

CyberEagles: Jacob Elliot Guest Speaker
Join us Thursday, April 10, in Prescott 215 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. as we host Jacob Elliot as our guest speaker! Jacob is an offensive security specialist at Dark Wolf Solutions, a DC-based contractor. He serves as the lead coach for the US Cyber Team and assists in preparing competitors for the International Cybersecurity Championship. He is also a three time NCL champion, winner of DEFCON 29 Maritime Village SeaTF, and other competitions. Free lunch will be provided!

Schoen, Ph.D., leads a 30-minute workshop on conflict management hosted by Beta Alpha Psi from 11 to 11:50 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, in Foundation Hall 159. Conflict in the workplace is a reality professionals face. This session provides tips for identifying conflict, assessing the situation, managing oneself and others, and resolving issues professionally. Join CyberEagles at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 6, in Prescott Hall 215 as we are joined by a guest speaker from Oak Ridge National Lab! Connor Gannon is a Tech alum who now works in the National Security Sciences Directorate at ORNL. Connor’s background includes work in vulnerability research, unmanned vehicle security modeling and simulations, red team campaigns for detection system analysis, and currently threat intelligence analysis. Free lunch will be provided for attendees!
