Ask questions, view a practice, and meet new people. This activity looks great on a resume and you’re sure to find new friends doing it. Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (oSTEM) will have a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 29 in Foster 233 at 11 a.m. We will be discussing upcoming events for the semester, as well as generating new ideas for other events the members would like to particpate in. The club is open to all LGBTQI+ students, faculty, and staff, as well as allies. All majors are welcome. There is also an option to attend the meeting virtually via Zoom. Rural Reimagined is Tennessee Tech’s Grand Challenge initiative to transform rural living through science, technology, research, and entrepreneurship. During dead hour today, the National Society of Black Engineers will have a General Body meeting. This will be held virtually via Microsoft teams. We at the Lambda GSA believe that people should stand up for what they believe in. One of the ways that this is done is by participating in peaceful protests and marches. With the current situations of the world, it is more important than ever to be safe in the ways that one decides to protest.
