    The Office of Communications & Marketing will be closed next week, May 9 to May 13, to allow staff to transition to their new workspaces in Crawford Hall. The office will be occupying the entire first floor of Crawford, and this is a permanent move. New projects requested during the week of May 9 will receive a response the following week.     CITL Summer Intensive

    Registration is now open for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning 2022 Summer Intensive taking place May 16th and 17th from 8 AM – 12 PM. This event will include interactive sessions, group discussions, and time to work directly with the CITL staff on your course.  Our Intensive will take place both in person in Volpe Library Room 112 and virtually via Microsoft Teams.     Congratulate graduates with a Commencement Ad

    Congratulate graduates with an ad on the jumbotron inside the Hooper Eblen Center! The Office of Communications and Marketing is accepting requests to create ads to be shown on the jumbotron at commencement on Friday, May 6. Congratulate students from your college, departments, honor society or organization on the big screen!

    Advertisements are $40 per design and design requests must be submitted no later than Friday, April 29. To request an ad, complete the request form at https://www.tntech.edu/ocm/creative.php.

    PRL in the College of Business Presents the Career Ready Advocate Award

    The Professional Readiness and Leadership Center in the College of Business wishes to recognize this year’s winners of the Career Ready Advocate Award. This award is given to the faculty, staff, and campus community members who have had an impact in the development of young professionals. The faculty award for 2022 goes to Joohun “Justin” Lee of the Economics, Finance, and Marketing Department. The staff award for 2022 goes to Sherrie Cannon of the College of Business Student Success Center. As for the campus community award, Emma Cannon from First National Bank of Tennessee is recognized. Congratulations to these excellent leaders!

    iLearn Semester Wrap-Up

    Join the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning on Tuesday, April 26th at 11 am for a workshop session focused on preparing your iLearn courses for the next semester.  In this session, Kelvin and Lauren will discuss the exact procedures for adding, deleting, and modifying content topics, quizzes, assignments, discussions, and other iLearn components. The process of copying, exporting, and importing entire courses and between semesters is also explained in detail. Lastly, they will elaborates on the steps for selecting specific items to be copied as well as how to manage or offset start, end, and due dates.
