    Become a Student Leadership Awards Reviewer

    The Student Leadership Awards program, sponsored by the Student Government Association and Omicron Delta Kappa, seeks to strengthen students’ sense of connection to and appreciation for the University community, express appreciation for student leadership and contributions to the institution, and highlight student leadership excellence as an example to continuing students. Please consider supporting this program as an applicant reviewer. Reviewers will have March 8-21 to review and rate applications. Help to make the program happen while reading about the ways our amazing students are making a difference at Tech!

    Please email SGA Vice President Claire Myers at sgavp@tntech.edu to be added as a reviewer. Information about nominations and applications can be found on the Student Leadership Awards website (hyperlink: https://www.tntech.edu/sga/awards.php). Please take a moment to nominate students whose efforts warrant recognition and share this program with your students. Awards will be presented during the Student Leadership Awards ceremony on April 11.

    Registration is now open for our Onsite Wellness Screening on Friday, April 19, 2024.

    The ParTNers for Health Wellness Program is a voluntary wellness program available to higher education employees and spouses enrolled in health coverage. Each participant will be able to earn up to $500/year ($250/year for the eligible member and $250/year for eligible spouses). Click here for more information or to schedule an appointment.

    CITL: Data Driven Decisions

    In this session, the CITL Team will emphasize data-driven decisions and introduce Small Group Instructional Diagnostics (SGID). SGIDs involves structured small group discussions among students to offer confidential feedback to instructors, usually midway through a term.     Tn Tech Positive Body Image Awareness Day – February 26th

    February 26th is TN Tech Positive Body Image Awareness Day! Stop by our table in RUC lobby and grab some swag, get a picture with positive affirmations signs, and show your support for National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. In the United States, 28.8 million Americans will suffer from an eating disorder at some point in their lives. Eating disorders are serious but treatable mental and physical illnesses affecting people of all genders, ages, races, religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, body shapes, and weights.     The Small Group Instructional Diagnostic (SGID) method is a direct evaluation approach utilizing structured small group discussions among students to furnish confidential feedback to instructors, typically around the midpoint of a term.   • 1095-C form is now available

    The Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage form (1095-C) is now available.

    To access the form, select the Eagle tile from your Quicklinks section in Tech Express.  Once in Eagle online, select Employee then Tax Forms. The 1095 Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage Statement will be listed here. Select 2023 as the Tax Year to see the current tax year’s statement.

    Reminder: Nominations for the 2024 Derryberry Award due March 4

    The 2024 Derryberry Award nomination deadline is Monday, March 4. This award was established in honor of the late Everett Derryberry after 34 years as president of Tennessee Tech. This prestigious honor grants a plaque and cash award to a graduating senior who demonstrates a high level of scholastic achievement and successful campus involvement in leadership and enrichment opportunities. Individuals who graduated in December 2023 or are scheduled to graduate in May or August 2024 are eligible for nomination. Visit https://www.tntech.edu/derryberryaward  for more information.
