    Student Affairs Student Spotlight – Jesse Akowuah

    Meet Jesse Akowuah, our Student Affairs Student Spotlight!

    Jesse is a graduate student at Tennessee Tech pursuing a master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering. He has been actively involved on campus as Vice President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) student chapter, Publicity Secretary of the African Students Union (ASU), and a global ambassador with the Center for Global Experiences, while also supporting the Civil and Environmental Engineering department through volunteer work and serving as a Graduate Research Assistant.

  • Package Pickup Deadline: End of Spring Semester

    As the academic year concludes, students should please ensure they collect all personal packages from Mail Services before departing campus for the summer. Any unclaimed packages will be returned to the sender on May 11.

    If you require an extension or need us to hold your items for a few additional days, please contact us at mailservices@tntech.edu to make the necessary arrangements.

    Canvas Workshops: Quizzes and Grading

    Join the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning this week for our two Canvas workshops. On Tuesday, April 28 from 9:00-10:00 AM we will cover New Quiz Essentials within Canvas. Then, on Thursday, April 30 from 9:30-10:30 AM, we will take a look at Grading & Feedback along with the Canvas Gradebook. Recordings of all sessions are available on the CITL website.     Tennessee Tech’s Department of Computer Science has released its 2026 Eagle Drive magazine.

    This commemorative issue celebrates the 40th anniversary of the department and spotlights alumni through the decades, going back to the 1970s. Take a look and explore the stories behind the milestone.

    Meet Zack Williams, our Student Affairs Student Spotlight!

    Zack is a junior at Tennessee Tech double majoring in Sociology: Criminal Justice and Computer Science: Cybersecurity. Originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee, he has been actively involved on campus through the Student Government Association, the Sociology/Criminal Justice Club, and as a Junior Ambassador for the Cybersecurity Education Research and Outreach Center (CEROC).
