    7th St, from Mahler Ave to Walnut Ave, will be closed to through traffic on Monday, May 11th, through Wednesday, May 13th in order to make necessary repairs to the building.

  • School of Human Ecology to present Outstanding Student Awards

    Annually the School of Human Ecology recognizes outstanding students during a reception scheduled in April. This year’s awards will be presented virtually on Friday, May 8.
    Students will be recognized in these categories: Outstanding Freshman – Hannah Bernhardt; Outstanding Sophomore – Kaylee Case; Outstanding Junior – Katy Hitchcock; Outstanding Senior – Sydney Elrod; Outstanding Child Development & Family Relations – Mary Lee; Outstanding Food Systems Administration – Julia Vesely; Outstanding Nutrition & Dietetics – Alyssa Lewin; Outstanding Child Life – Emily Reynolds; Outstanding Family & Consumer Science Education – Abby Bohannon; Outstanding Housing & Design – Jacob Williams; Outstanding Merchandising & Design – Kiara Blain and the Outstanding Human Ecology Award – Hannah Petty.   • Stadium Drive Closure

    Stadium Drive will be closed beginning Monday, May 11th from 7th Street to the end of Browning Evins Residence Hall.  It will remain closed until the completion of roof replacement work on Browning Evins Hall.  Armstrong Avenue will be open from 7th Street and Wings Up Way will be open from the new Student Recreation Center to Stadium Drive.

    Counseling Center Virtual Workshop

    The TN Tech Counseling Center will be hosting a virtual academic success workshop each day on Monday, May 4-Thursday, May 7 at 2pm each day.     The CSW Congratulates Award Winners

    The Commission on the Status of Women is pleased to announce the winners of its first annual awards. Yvette Clark, Executive Director of IT, has won the CSW Excellence Award for her outstanding service for women and gender equity during her time at Tech. Amy Bosley, a graduate student in Counseling & Psychology, has received the Alison Piepmeier Outstanding Student Award for her incredible efforts to promote gender equity. We are honored to announce these winners and look forward to a rescheduled awards ceremony in the fall.
