Dr. Colleen Mestayer has been at Tennessee Tech for the last 5 years where she teaches a variety of communication courses including Teamwork, Interpersonal Communication, Research Methods, and several courses in the new Event Planning Minor.

    Small Group Instructional Diagnostic (SGID) Consultations are now available for Fall 2021! You can book your session any time between October 13-22, 2021. A Small Group Instructional Diagnostic (SGID) is a simple and straightforward evaluation process that uses structured small group discussions among students to provide confidential feedback to the instructor around the midpoint of a term. The benefit of incorporating a SGID into your course is that it allows you to receive feedback before the end of the term, so you can begin making adjustments. Don’t miss this opportunity to get feedback on your course and improve your end of course IDEA student evaluations.

    A History of Desegregation at Tennessee Tech University

    Are you curious about when and how Tennessee Tech began racial desegregation? Check out the Tech Archives’ latest exhibit on the main floor of Volpe Library! “A History of Desegregation at Tennessee Tech University” interprets the context and early decades of Black students and employees at Tech, and connects their efforts with the activism of Black students today.

    The exhibit includes a display of library books that cover themes in the exhibit. These books are available to be checked out or read in the library.

    TN Tech Food Pantry – Closed for Fall Break

    The TN Tech Food Pantry will be closed Monday and Tuesday, October 11th and 12th.  Our wonderful student volunteers will be on fall break.  We will open back up, for our regular hours, on Wednesday morning, October 13th at 8am.

    REMEMBER: We do have the auxiliary pantry in the library which is open all hours the library is open.  You do not need to pre-register.  You can just go by and grab whatever 10 items you need.

    General Complaint Reporting

    In addition to the Fraud, Waste, or Abuse reporting form, Tennessee Tech also has a form on Internal Audit’s website for confidentially reporting complaints about accounting, internal control, auditing matters, code of conduct, and other related issues that are NOT fraud, waste, or abuse. Complainants remain COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS to Internal Audit unless the last section of the form is completed. General complaints received on this form are routed to appropriate campus departments for follow-up.

    The form can be submitted online or completed, printed, and mailed to Internal Audit, PO Box 5154, Cookeville, TN 38505.
