The Student Members of the American Chemical Society will be hosting a spirit night fundraiser at Panda Express (1020 S. Walnut Ave) on Wednesday, April 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. A portion of the sales will be donated to us if you show the flyer in the image or mention ACS when ordering. If ordering online, use code 3858173 in the fundraiser code box. The funds raised will go toward supporting student travel to conferences to present research. TKE invites the community to Stix Billiards & Lounge, located at 2020 N. Willow Ave. in Cookeville, for a pool tournament on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. 50% of all donations go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. $30 buy-in. Come on by and have a good time!
I Heart Tech Students is ending, but we have a unique opportunity to help it go out with a bang! Tech Board of Trustees member, Trudy Harper, has generously offered to give $100 for every $10 given by a student to the cause of their choice! The more they give, the bigger the impact (ex: $20=$220, etc).
Help us spread the word to every student you know! There will be two tabling events in the Roaden University Center lobby on March 25 from 11-1 and March 26 from 10-2 where anyone who gives during that time will also receive some Tech swag.
