Do you like to play dodgeball? Do you want to support a great cause while doing it? Register for the campus-wide dodgeball fundraiser today!

This year countless individuals were devastated by the Waverly, TN flood. The Association of IT Professionals wants to give back and sponsor several of the 900 Angel Tree kids from this area. Proceeds will go towards sponsoring as many children as possible.

When: December 9th, starts at 4 pm

The registration fee is due before the event. A bracket and rules will be sent to captains on the 8th. The winning team will receive a cash prize. This event is open to all faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Nov. 30 is Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving to support causes that have a positive impact on your community. What has a bigger impact on Cookeville than Tennessee Tech?  If you want to participate in Giving Tuesday, we hope you’ll make a gift to Tech. This year’s Giving Tuesday will focus on the Football Operations Center and Tech’s desire to continue the proud 100-year tradition of its football program. After all, so many Tech traditions are centered around football: Homecoming, the Pep Truck, Shinny-Ninny, Purple Pride, Awesome Eagle and Wings Up.

This Thursday from 11 AM – 1 PM IN THE LOBBY of the Roaden University Center, the staff of New Hall North and Jobe/Murphy as well as the Campus Police Department will host a “Pied for the Pantry” event, raising money for the campus food pantry.  For $1 you can step up and choose which TN Tech Employee you would like to pie in the face for charity.

Volunteering to be pied are:

• University Police, Officer Adkisson
• Maddux/McCord, MS Cooper/Pinkerton and New Hall South Hall Directors, Natalya, Tim and Kashmoney
• Long time pantry supporters, Mark Wilson and Matt Dexter, Athletics Director and Assistant Director
• Auxiliaries Director, Kerri Demeri (parking, dining, etc.)
• Head football coach, Dewayne Alexander
• Dean of Students, Dr. Katie Willia

Greek Life Coordinator, Alyssa Robinson

Your donations and support allow the campus food pantry to provide nutritious options for those dealing with some level of food insecurity.  THANK YOU!!!

Decades of friendship and a love for Golden Eagle Athletics have inspired two Tennessee Tech alumni to partner in leading fundraising efforts for a Football Operations Center on campus.

Ottis Phillips and M. Dianne Murphy grew up in Cookeville, attended the same church and were in the same high school class. They also experienced firsthand what it’s like to play for the Golden Eagles: Phillips was a member of Tech’s football team and Murphy played basketball, volleyball and tennis. Now, they are focused on helping the next generation of student-athletes, using the knowledge and experience they gained at Tech and in their careers to establish a new facility for Tech football.

The Student Members of the American Chemical Society will be making a periodic table of cupcakes to sell for National Chemistry Week. The fundraiser will be at the LSC covered portico outside of Einstein’s on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will also have other baked good for sale. We accept cash, card, and Venmo. All proceeds go toward travel expenses attending the ACS national meeting to present research. Come out and buy a cupcake of your favorite element and help us celebrate NCW!
