Facilities & Business Services has created a how-to video on how to properly submit a work order request to help improve our ability to to respond quickly and operate efficiently. Additionally, FBS has published a document to provide clarity on what is and what isn’t billable maintenance. There will be no hot water or steam on campus May 5-18, 2024 during the annual steam system outage. Natural gas and electric water heaters will continue to operate at Tech Village, New Hall North, Southwest Hall, RUC (for food service only), Lab Science Commons, East Stadium, West Stadium, APC, Foundation Hall, Hooper Eblen and Academic Wellness Center.
This outage is necessary to perform preventative maintenance, and is scheduled annually following spring commencement to minimize impact on other campus events.
The Roaden University Center (RUC) 2nd-floor display cases were renovated during winter break. The cases now feature adjustable shelves and lighting that can be set to any color. Two of these cases are available for student organizations and departments to use on a month-by-month basis. To reserve a display case, please contact RUC Coordinator Jeff Hall at ruc@tntech.edu and indicate the month that you would like to use the case.

Do you plan to move or change the use of one of your rooms/spaces? Have you already done so? Please submit a “Space Request Form” found on the Facilities & Business Services website at https://www.tntech.edu/facilities/forms.php. Once completed, please email a copy of the form to Gail Gentry at ggentry@tntech.edu.
Submission of this form ensures facilities is aware and approves of the change and it gets recorded appropriately.
The Campus Space Utilization and Allocation Committee will meet Friday, April 5, 2024, 11 a.m. Please submit your form no later than Thursday, March 28, 12:00 p.m.

Tennessee Tech will hold its annual open meeting of the Stormwater Management Committee on Thursday, September 7th from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM via MS Teams. The committee will discuss stormwater management on the Tech campus, followed with a time for Q & A and discussion.
