    Are you struggling to work through unresolved trauma? Join our trauma recovery group to learn about the different ways trauma can affect us, develop techniques that may help in times of distress, as well as being a positive support for others who also struggle with the same experiences. Credit is crucial to all kinds of financial transactions, from financing a car (or house!) to renting an apartment. Dr. Alma Nuñez, Professor of Finance in Tech’s College of Business, will be leading our workshop.

    On Tues., Sept. 2nd at 11 AM in Brown 315, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN) will be hosting guest speaker Dr. Dale Blair. He will be giving a talk about his engineering experiences and giving general advise to engineering students at Tennessee Tech. He presentation will include topics about controls and sensors as well as how engineering is used in industry and how your time at Tennessee Tech will provide you with tools to solve any problem.

    Are you interested in building a fully custom off-road race car? Come to the Baja intro meeting Tuesday, Aug 26th at 6 in AIEB room 130. We will give a rundown of what our team is about and how we operate. If you are interested in joining this is the place to be as we will cover what membership in Baja looks like as well as the opportunities it provides. There is no required experience or major, everyone is welcome. You are welcome to dive in and start building your skillset right away as we begin working on this year’s iteration of the TTU Baja car. In Baja you will have the opportunity to learn design, welding, machining, data acquisition and transmission, presenting, graphic design, and much more.     Join the Tennessee Tech Talons this Thursday, August 21st for the first ever Training Wings Event!* We will be playing some Ultimate Frisbee at President’s Lawn / Walton Park from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. as well as a series of other challenges such as an accuracy test, hucking competition, and a sky trainer to test your vertical!
