Witch Pictures: Female Magic and Transgression in Western Art with Pam Grossman

Pam is a writer, curator, and teacher of magical practice and history. She is the host of The Witch Wave podcast (“the Terry Gross of Witches” – Vulture) and the author of Waking the Witch: Reflections on Women, Magic, and Power (Gallery Books / Simon & Schuster) and What Is A Witch (Tin Can Forest Press). She is also co-editor and co-author of the WITCHCRAFT volume of Taschen’s Library of Esoterica series. Join us for a magical evening as we experience her compelling visual storytelling.

Happy Halloween!

Join the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) as we learn about the field of Green Chemistry! SMACS Green Chemistry Chair and chemistry major Wesley Gibson will give a presentation on the history and principles of Green Chemistry on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in LSC 1211. The event is free and open to people of any level of chemistry knowledge. Snacks will be served. Questions can be sent to smacsttu@gmail.com.

Pam Grossman is an author, podcaster, curator, and teacher of magical history. Her evening lecture will cover the fascinating and complex history of witchcraft, from the goddess mythologies of ancient cultures to the contemporary embrace of the craft by modern artists and activists.

Attend the Co-op Meetup on Thursday, October 19, in Clement 212 beginning at 11 a.m. New guidelines, which went into effect Fall 2022 for engineering student enrollment, will be shared.
