The Launchpad Student Success Center invites students, particularly first-year students, to attend Study Skills for People Who’ve Never Studied Before on Sept. 1 from 3:00-3:45 p.m. in Room 120 (Testing and Learning Center) of Volpe Library. Students will learn practical, science-backed strategies to improve retention, increase study efficiency, and prepare for academic success. Please encourage students who may benefit to attend. The Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness is offering a support group for all new Tech students, transfer students, first generation students starting or continuing their academic journey here at Tech! Relaxation Hours EVERY Thursday
The Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness will be hosting “relaxation hours” during the semester every Thursday from 11:00am-12:00pm beginning on September 3rd. You will have access to our massage chair, red light therapy, Zen garden, napping mats, and a relaxing and supportive environment while you take a break in between classes. The relaxation hour will be in the Eagle Resource Room, RUC room 387. No sign up required – all students are welcome!
