    As part of our ongoing efforts to fill the position of the Chief Audit Executive, we are excited to announce a virtual open forum where you can meet and hear from our finalist candidates.   • Payroll Office, Derryberry Hall, Room 161 Temporarily Inaccessible

    The physical payroll offices in Derryberry Hall will be inaccessible next week due to the renovation project currently in progress in Derryberry Hall. The payroll staff will still be available via telephone, Teams, and email.  Please reach out if we can assist you in any way.   • Professional Privilege Tax 2024

    Under TCA 67-4-1709, the professional privilege tax is due June 1 each year for individuals actively licensed or registered to practice in Tennessee for the following professions:

    Attorney
    Agent(Securities)
    Broker-Dealer
    Investment Adviser
    Lobbyist

    For those so licensed, Tennessee Tech University will remit this for you. The amount of tax will be included as additional compensation on each affected employee’s W-2. If you are registered or licensed to practice in more than one of the following professions, you are only required to pay the $400 tax once per year.

    Please provide the names and professions of anyone in your area of responsibility to me at dagee@tntech.edu or Jenni Roberts at jaroberts@tntech.edu at your earliest convenience, but not later than May 17, 2024. I will compile a master list to transmit to the State.

  • Human Resources Office Closure

    Human Resources (Derryberry 146) will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, May 8th from 10am – 2pm to facilitate our Employee Celebration event on Centennial Plaza and in the Tech Pride Room.  We hope to see you there for non-work-related fun!
