  • Families First Coronavirus Response Act

    When an employee is unable to work and cannot telecommute, there are several options available to them. Employees may elect to take annual leave or sick leave, as appropriate, or may qualify for leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which provides additional provisions related to Emergency Family & Medical Leave and Emergency Paid Sick Leave. Please find additional information on eligibility and how to request emergency leave at https://www.tntech.edu/private/covid19/employee.php.  For further information or questions concerning your leave options, please contact your HR Generalist via phone or email.

  • Human Resources Notification

    Your HR team wanted to notify you of current resources related to COVID-19. Telecommuting agreements must only be completed by staff and temporary employees. Faculty, student workers, and graduate assistants do not have to complete the form. Your HR team has created a one stop shop for COVID-19 related questions.   • March Nomination: Nominate a deserving Tech employee for Ambassador of the Month

    Show your appreciation for someone who has exceeded the call of duty to help you by nominating that person as Ambassador of the Month. The winner receives a letter of recognition, a certificate and a reserved parking space on campus for one month. All regular employees who have been employed at Tech longer than six months are eligible. This is a one-time award. To nominate someone, visit the link below.

  • Outstanding C&S Staff Award & Outstanding Professional Award

    Nominations are currently being accepted for the Outstanding Professional Award and the Outstanding C&S Staff Award.  The awards are based on job performance, attitude toward University constituencies, commitment and service to the University, professional development and suggestions for program improvements.  A nomination can be made by any member of the University community (faculty, staff and students).  Please visit our employee recognition page linked below for more information and to make a nomination.   • Internal Search for Women’s Center Director

    The Women’s Center is conducting a search (internal only) for a part-time Director to lead and support efforts for women’s equity across campus and the community. The appointment to the position is for 1 – 3 years and is renewable. Applicants will be required to electronically upload a Letter of Interest and a detailed Curriculum Vitae. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all materials are received. Applications without all required documents are incomplete and will not be considered.
