Under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, schools receiving federal funds must take reasonable steps to ensure that individuals with limited ability to speak and understand English have meaningful access to university programs and activities. Failure to provide meaningful access may constitute discrimination based on national origin.
In order to comply with Title VI, Tennessee Tech partners with Linguistica International, a translation service.
