Master’s Student, Mark Rine wins 3rd Place at TNGIC 2024 annual Conference

TNGIC 2024 (The Tennessee Geographic Information Council) was a great success, with an amazing turnout of TN Tech current students and recent alumni. Biology Master’s student, Mark Rine won the TennesseeView Remote Sensing Student Paper Competition with his presentation on “Spatiotemporal Fish Assemblage Patterns Associated with Fluctuating Flow in a Cumberland River Watershed in Tennessee”.  Dr. Kit Wheeler is Mark’s advisor, and he completed this project as part of his project for Dr. Samantha Allen’s Fundamental of Environmental Spatial Analysis course.
