Computer science department’s Gupta wins Kinslow Engineering Research Award

Asst. Prof. of Computer Science Maanak Gupta won the College of Engineering’s Kinslow Engineering Research Award for his paper “From ChatGPT to ThreatGPT: Impact of Generative AI in Cybersecurity and Privacy.” It has been cited 200 times and downloaded over 50,000 times since published in IEEE Access Aug. 1, 2023.

“The award is a testament of the impactful research we are doing in our ABCyS lab at the intersection of generative AI and cybersecurity and recognition to my students who work relentlessly on cutting-edge research,” Gupta said. Read more
