Campus Recreation is happy to announce that Heartsaver CPR/AED classes are now available at the Marc. L. Burnett Student Recreation and Fitness Center. Learn how to provide CPR to infants, children, and adults. You will also be trained in the use of the Automated External Defibrillators (AED). Successful completion of this class will result in you being certified in Heartsaver CPR/AED by the American Heart Association. This class is meant to prepare you to deal with cardiac emergencies until professional emergency medical service providers arrive at the scene. It is a 2-year certification. Classes are scheduled now for November and December, with the first class being on Tuesday, November 14th at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
