The CITL will kick off the Summer Series on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11 AM, as we begin reading Powerful Teaching: Unleash the Science of Learning by Dr. Pooja Agarwhal and Patrice Bain. We will meet virtually on Tuesdays, wrapping up the series on August 8, 2023. Together, we will learn and discuss how to implement retrieval practice, spacing, interleaving, and feedback-driven metacognition into courses. Reading is NOT required to join in on the conversation, and all chapters are available online though the TnTech Library. This week we will discuss the introduction and chapter 1.
