 Emalee Josef Senior Thesis Exhibition

Senior Thesis Exhibition for Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics

This exhibition presents works that represent a person’s mental health that has manifested into the creation of bound bodies and dark forms. The exhibit will be showcasing larger than life creations along with intimate moments that reflect the human condition.  The show was created by sculptor Emalee Josef a graduating student of Tennessee Tech’s School of Art Craft and Design. Josef is extremely excited to share a look at these expressive works that will be the emergence into their career as an artist. These works elude darkness in a way that is not only unsettling but is also familiar. Exhibition is April 20 – May 3, 2023, reception on Saturday April 29, 2023. The exhibit will be at the Appalachian Center for Craft.
