Eagle Works, in partnership with the WCTE PBS, is excited to present the free screening of Benjamin Franklin: A Film by Ken Burns tomorrow, March 31. The film represents the first part of an engaging documentary series exploring the life and work of Franklin, the world-renowned inventor, innovator, and scientist of American history. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend this free screening, which will be followed by an enlightening discussion led by Michael Aikens, director of Eagle Works, to consider Franklin’s impact on our nation and the power of innovation and entrepreneurship. The screening will be held in the Stonecipher Lecture Hall Room 126 Wednesday March 31st at 6pm. Let’s engage our campus and community through considering how Ben Franklin used innovation, science, and civic engagement to make his mark on American History.
