Join University Advancement in a virtual reception for John Smith, recipient of the 2021 CASE District III Mentor of the Year Award, on Wednesday, May 19 at 11 a.m. The CASE Mentor of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made an impact on other advancement professionals through mentorship, and candidates are nominated by a mentee who has benefited directly from the personal and professional leadership of the mentor. Smith graduated from Tech with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in business administration. He has held progressively-responsible positions since beginning his work in University Advancement as a graduate assistant in the 90s.
