Rural Reimagined recognizes Treehouse Publishing Group, a successful rural Tennessee business in Jamestown, for their work creating children’s books to assist and help fundraise created this program with her daughter when the Covid-19 pandemic first struck. AJ says, “I wanted to give back to the nonprofit organizations that do so much for our communities, animals and the planet.” AJ Wanegar, the founder of Treehouse Publishing Group, created this nonprofit with her daughter when the Covid-19 pandemic first struck. AJ, a long-time freelance illustrator, has overcome a history of trauma and injury and recognizes the role nonprofits played in her success.
