October 10 stained glass workshop at the Craft Center
Design and create a stained glass artwork from a selection of beginner-friendly patterns. You’ll learn essential techniques including cutting glass, grinding, foiling with copper tape, and soldering to join pieces into a final design. We’ll finish with patina and polishing to help your piece sparkle. Throughout the workshop, you’ll work step-by-step with the instructor’s guidance, gaining confidence in tool handling, artistic decision-making, and safe studio practices. All materials and tools are provided, and we’ll cover safety guidelines for working with the various equipment. No experience is needed – just curiosity and enthusiasm! Click here to register

Welcome Randy Prater – Director of Procurement
Mr. Prater brings more than 30 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, and supply chain leadership. A proud Tennessee Tech alumnus, Randy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Business Management with an emphasis in Decision Sciences. He also served more than 20 years in the United States Army and Army National Guard.
Please join us in welcoming Randy Prater to Tennessee Tech. We look forward to the leadership, expertise, and collaborative spirit he will bring to our university community.

ROTC HOSTS 9/11 MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB
Join ROTC as we honor the victims and our heroes with a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Saturday, September 12, 2026, starting at 7:00 a.m. at Tucker Stadium. Walk without weight or join the cadets and climb with a 35-pound backpack to simulate the firefighters’ gear as they climbed the World Trade Center.
