Prescott Hall Construction
Construction of an equipment pad and screen wall will begin the week of November 8 at the northeast end of Prescott Hall. This project will be complete (dependent on weather) in mid-December. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Call for Submission: Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments for 2022-2023
Proposals are now being accepted for the 2022-2023 academic year for faculty seeking Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments. The purposes of the non-instructional assignments are: to contribute to the professional growth of the faculty; to improve the teaching and the curriculum across the University; and/or to enhance the scholarship and academic excellence of the University in ways that cannot be accomplished under the constraints of the regular workload assignments. Submission Deadlines: Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 – Suggested Deadline for Proposals to Department Chairs; Friday, January 28, 2022 – Deadline for Proposals to Academic Affairs. Tennessee Tech Homecoming Week 2021
Welcome to the 2021 Tennessee Tech Homecoming Week! Many great events will take place for both students and the campus community celebrating the theme of “Tech Back In Time: Homecoming Through The Decades”. Monday, November 8th brings the homecoming banners back to the RUC lobby. The banners will be displayed throughout the week. Tuesday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. in Derryberry Hall Auditorium will be the student organization skit night with entertaining performances focused on their individual themes. Wednesday, November 10th will be the opportunity to give back to the students with the Tennessee Tech Food Pantry Crowdfunding Drive. To donate please visit www.tntech.edu/homecoming. Thursday, November 11th join us as we welcome Mixtape 80s Tribute Band to Derryberry Hall Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13th presents the homecoming parade on Dixie Avenue with a step off time of 10:30 a.m. and the homecoming football game at Tucker Stadium at 1:30 p.m. Come cheer on the Golden Eagles!

CAFÉ Conversations: Responding to Disclosure
Join us on November 8th at 3 PM in Derryberry Hall room 200 for our next CAFÉ Conversation in the Diversity & Inclusion series, Responding to Disclosure. Dr. Helen Hunt will share information about trauma-informed responses when people are talking to you (what to say versus what not to say) as well as information about resources and how to do a “warm handoff” to get them the help they need based on what they’re wanting. This conversation is geared toward employees who don’t have confidentiality; it’s not designed to have the person disclose details about what happened, but instead how to provide an affirming reaction and then get them to whatever thing they need next.
