Do you have questions about the Co-op Program? Need to know the difference between a Co-op and an internship? We’ve got you covered!
Attend the first Co-op Meetup of the semester on Tuesday, September 3rd, in Clement Hall 212 at 11 a.m. to learn how YOU can be Co-op Eligible!
The Co-op Meetup will explain the eligibility guidelines for enrolling in the Cooperative Education Program, which applies to all students.
Please note, any student interested in accepting a Cooperative Education position with an employer MUST attend a Co-op Meetup, prior to accepting an offer.

Tennessee Tech Men’s Golf Releases 2024-25 Schedule
Your defending Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Champions released their 2024-25 schedule with their first competition on Monday, September 9 in Madison, Illinois. The Golden Eagles will travel to South Carolina, Georgia, and finally Ohio to finish off their fall campaign.
The spring season will start in mid-March with the team making their way to St. Simons Island, Georgia and Mobile, Alabama.
The Golden Eagles are led by Head Coach Polk Brown (13th season) and Assistant Coach Amanda Smith (5th season).

TTU Softball Manager Wanted
TTU Softball is looking to hire a student manager for the ’24-’25 school year. Requirements for the position include previous softball/baseball playing experience as main duties will be to catch bullpen, throw front toss and laundry. The manager position will be required to be at all team functions that includes practice, games (home and away), etc. In-state scholarship and books available. First CyberEagles Meeting of the Semester
The first CyberEagles meeting of the semester will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, in Prescott Hall 215. We will be giving an introduction to CyberEagles, the Cyber Interest Groups, CEROC, as well as announcing our schedules for the semester and providing information about cybersecurity scholarships available at Tech. Food and drinks will be provided.

You’re Invited to join Intercultural Affairs in our Annual Welcome Back Meet Up on Tuesday, August 27th at 11 am in the Roaden University Center (RUC) Tech Pride Room (RUC 101)!
This annual event brings together the students, faculty, staff, and administrators to meet and greet each other as we start off a new academic year! Environmental Studies & Earth Sciences Students Study Abroad in Scotland
“Once in a lifetime..I wouldn’t trade my experiences on this trip for anything” said one of the eleven students that joined Dr. Samantha Allen, Professor David Hajdik and Philip Roberson from the School of Environmental Studies & Earth Sciences to Scotland to explore sustainability and aid in service projects. The group visited key areas around Scotland and also partnered with locals, Chrissie Gillies and Tom Lusink from the Isle of Raasay Carbon Neutral Islands Project to aid in ongoing efforts to use remote sensing and GIS to map the Isle of Raasay and the invasive spread of Rhododendron.

Liezl Laurel Wins 2024 Kurt Eisen Excellence in Liberal Arts Award
Liezl Laurel, a Spanish and computer science double major, is the recipient of the 2024 Kurt Eisen Excellence in Liberal Arts Award. The award recognizes excellence in three areas: critical thinking, context consciousness, and communication.
Liezl was nominated by the Department of Foreign Languages. Dr. Joshua Martin, Assistant Professor of Spanish, writes, “Liezl represents the highest ideals of humanistic inquiry and impactful research. She embodies the full spirit of the award and is an exceptional ambassador for TTU’s mission and values.”
