Alpha Phi Omega is the largest international collegiate service organization with almost 400 active chapters in the United States, Canada and the Philippines, and over 500,000 alumni! We were founded based on the principles of the Scouting movement and have relationships with both the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts USA, among many other service organizations.

General Complaint Reporting
In addition to the Fraud, Waste, or Abuse reporting form, Tennessee Tech also has a form on Internal Audit’s website for confidentially reporting complaints about accounting, internal control, auditing matters, code of conduct, and other related issues that are NOT fraud, waste, or abuse. Complainants remain COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS to Internal Audit unless the last section of the form is completed. General complaints received on this form are routed to appropriate campus departments for follow-up.
The form can be submitted online or completed, printed, and mailed to Internal Audit, PO Box 5154, Cookeville, TN 38505.

The Holistic FUEL Program is Recruiting 30 Hispanic/Latinx Engineering Students
The Holistic FUEL program is recruiting 30 Hispanic/Latinx undergraduate freshmen and sophomore engineering majors interested in participating in impactful research. FUEL students will collaborate in student-team research projects geared towards positively affecting the Upper Cumberland region. Students will start in Spring 2021 and can also earn a $600 stipend! El programa de “Holistic FUEL” está focalizado en reclutar 30 estudiantes de primer y segundo año cursando las carreras de ingeniería. Estudiantes Hispan@s/Latinx que estén interesados en participar en investigación académica enfocada en temas socialmente relevantes están especialmente invitados. En el programa van a trabajar en proyectos que son en colaboración con la iniciativa de “Rural Reimagined” y que serán beneficiosos para la región del “Upper Cumberland” en Tennessee. El programa comenzará en la primavera del año 2021 y ofrecerá una beca de $600. REMINDER – Sick Leave Bank Enrollment – Faculty & Staff
The annual enrollment period for Faculty and Non-Faculty Sick Leave Banks is October 1 through October 31, 2020. If you are already a sick leave bank member, you do not need to re-enroll.
Please complete your enrollment form via DocuSign at Sick Leave Bank Form. Your form must be received by 4:30 pm on October 31, 2020. Please note that if you do wish to participate, the assessment will be fifteen (15.0) sick leave hours for full-time employees (prorated for permanent, part time). This will be deducted from your November Leave Report which will be turned in at the first of December.
NOTE: You may receive sick leave donations from other employees only if you are a sick bank member. Since the beginning of the program in 1989, there has not been a need to require more than the initial assessment of 15 hours for each full-time member.

HOT WATER OUTAGE
There will be no hot water or steam on campus Saturday, October 10. Natural gas and electric water heaters will continue to operate at Tech Village, New Hall North, Southwest Hall, RUC (for food service only), East Stadium, West Stadium, APC, Foundation Hall, Hooper Eblen and Fitness Center.
This outage is necessary to perform preventative maintenance, and is scheduled annually following spring commencement to minimize impact on other campus events. Hot Water and steam will be restored on Saturday afternoon.

Retirement Reception for Vickie Floyd
Please join us for a retirement reception honoring Vickie Floyd on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 1:30 to 3:30 in the multipurpose room on the 2nd floor of the RUC. Vickie retired in May after 35 years of service with Tennessee Tech. Come help us celebrate with Vickie as she enters this next phase of life. Refreshments will be served.
