    FIRST LEGO League Volunteers Needed!

    It’s FIRST LEGO League Championship time and we need you! We need a lot of volunteers to make it a successful and positive experience for all those involved.

    The event is February 6th and 7th, 2026 in the Memorial Gym.

    Set-up will be Friday, starting at 5 pm.

    The tournament is Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm, half-day shifts are available.

    Volunteers receive a T-shirt and lunch at the Caf.

    The Launchpad Student Success Center will host From Panic to Productivity: Prevailing over Procrastination from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Thursday, January 22nd, in Room 120 (Testing and Learning Center) in Volpe Library.

    In this workshop, you will explore why people procrastinate, connect productivity strategies to your situation, and draft a plan that fits your personal motivation.

    Craft Club is Back! Gretta Stanger Craft Club, January 2026 Meeting

    Aimed to give a dedicated time and space, once a month, for creative engagement, peer connection and collaboration. Much like our past “socials” but with a creative twist! Many of us crafters, craft alone and maybe only at home. The GSC Craft Club is hoping to connect those people, while also being able to share and learn potential new skills!     Blood Drive for Putnam County!

    Join Blood Assurance and the TN Tech Rotaract Club in the Tech Pride Room (RUC 101) from 11am – 4pm. Blood Assurance will be set up in the Tech Pride Room to allow you to donate and save lives! All donations benefit our neighbors in Putnam County and surrounding areas. All donations will be given a choice between a burgundy or cream blanket after donation! Help us save lives in our community who helps us so much!

    Student Affairs Student Spotlight – Maddox Cagle

    Meet Maddox Cagle, our January Student Affairs Student Spotlight!

    Maddox is a recent Electrical Engineering graduate from Tennessee Tech, completing his fifth year and a co-op experience during Spring 2024. He served as president of the Formula SAE Electric Club, where he helped revitalize the organization by increasing campus visibility through outreach efforts and recruitment. Maddox was also involved in intramural athletics, earning one softball championship and two trivia championships, and was nominated for Mr. ECE Engineer. Maddox plans to pursue a career in management or sales engineering and may continue his education with an MBA. He is guided by a strong commitment to leadership, service, faith, and community.

    Take a break and enjoy a FREE cup of coffee while speaking with recruiters from UT Space Institute on Mon, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. in the RUC’s Swoops Food Court.

    The UT Space Institute is a graduate and research institution in Middle Tennessee. It has become an internationally recognized institution for grad studies and research.
