    Radiate Body Positivity Group

    The Radiate Body Positivity group is a support group dedicated to fostering self-acceptance and celebrating diverse body types. We will challenge societal standards of beauty, share personal experiences, and encourage one another in embracing their unique bodies. The group is aimed at building confidence, promoting mental and physical well-being, and advocating for inclusivity and respect in all aspects of life. All students are welcome!

    Welcome Dirk Anderson, New Dining Services Director

    Dirk Anderson, a Sequatchie County High School graduate, earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a Sociology minor from Tennessee Tech in 1997. With 27 years in the foodservice industry, including as District Manager for Buc-ee’s and roles at Vanderbilt and Texas A&M, Dirk is eager to return to Tennessee Tech. He brings expertise in innovative dining programs and people-first leadership. Dirk is married to Christi and father to college student Jimmy. He enjoys family time, automobiles, and college sports, and aims to enhance Tennessee Tech’s community and dining programs.

    Tech Hires New Campus Police Chief

    Tennessee Tech University recently announced that long-time law enforcement professional Fred Nichols as the next campus police chief. With decades of experience in law enforcement Chief Nichols joined University police in 2013 as a patrolman and has been promoted up ranks through the years. Chief Nichols looks forward to serving the campus community and is looking to promote the growth of the department

    CyberEagles: ORNL Guest Speaker

    CyberEagles is hosting our first guest speaker of the semester, Matt Buffo at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, in Prescott Hall 215. Matt is a cyber-physical technical professional at Oak Ridge National Lab with a focus on energy systems and project management. This will be a great opportunity to hear from an industry professional working in the field about his experience, what his day to day looks like, and how he got to where he is. Free food and drinks will be provided!
