    Swing Dance Paint Night- Thursday 4/4

    Join the Swing Dance Club for an evening of painting and dancing on Thursday, April 4th from 8pm to 11pm in the Tech Pride Room! No dance experience required to attend. Everything you need to paint will be provided, and we will have a swing dance lesson, so be sure to wear clothes you can dance in and get paint on.  We will also have snacks and drinks, so swing on by!

    CITL: Reaching Students Through Intelligent Agents in iLearn

    Do you wish you could help your students celebrate a certain grade or give them a gentle nudge on a due date? iLearn has a set-it-and-forget-it tool to help you do just that. Intelligent Agents is an iLearn tool that will automatically send an email to a student based on an action (like achieving a certain grade on a quiz) or an inaction (like failure to submit an assignment) in a course. In this session, we will show what those automatic emails look like for students and link to resources on how to create Intelligent Agents in your own courses.     WEST Workshop 4/4: Formatting with MS Word

    Do you struggle to make your work look professional in MS Word? Want to learn some tips and tricks to make formatting a breeze? WEST, the Writing Excellence Studio at Tech, is here to help! On Thursday, 4/4, we will be leading a dead hour workshop on Formatting with MS Word. We can talk about basic strategies and shortcuts to maximize your efficiency. The workshop will be in Henderson Hall 304B, from 11:00-11:50.     When I Was Young”:  Alayna Motz Senior Thesis Exhibition

    Senior Thesis Exhibition for Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dual Focus

    From April 4-16 the Appalachian Center for Craft will be showing When I Was Young, a solo exhibition by Alayna Motz.  The work will be displayed in the Lakeview Gallery, Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 12–5 p.m., reception on April 14 from 12-3 p.m.

    “When I Was Young”, is Alayna’s work from the past year as an artist creating work in textiles and graphic design. The work showcases tapestry crochet, quilts, and weavings. Creating a safe space for everyone’s inner child and nostalgic objects and feelings from her childhood.
