If you still need a book for your fall class please come in and purchase it now. If a book has been returned and you need it for class please let an employee know and the book can be ordered for you.

Fall 2021 Seminar Series (October 4th)
The Computer Science Graduate Student Club is back with a brand-new seminar series this Fall 2021. Mahmoud Abouyoussef, a Computer Science Ph.D. student, will be talking about his research titled “Blockchain-based Networking Strategy For Privacy-Preserving Demand Side Management”.
The research seminar is scheduled on Monday, October 4th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Bruner Hall 410.

International Jobs and Careers Panel
On Wednesday, October 6, the Tennessee World Affairs Council will host an international jobs and careers panel, from 5:30-7 pm on Zoom. This panel will give you a chance to get career tips and advice from 5 different people working in the international arena.
The panelists include a former Peace Corps volunteer, a diplomat, two people with experience in international development, and a former defense intelligence specialist.

National Drive Electric Week Cookeville Oct 2, 2021
The electric vehicle (EV) Ride & Drive event will come to Cookeville TN on Tennessee Tech University campus on Cookeville Oct 2, 2021. Join us for this interactive in-person ride and drive as part of the National Drive Electric Week. This Ride-And-Drive event will give all participants a chance to test drive an EV first hand. Participants will also gain current information on charging, maintaining, and future use of EV’s. Finally, participants will have the chance to use an EV for two weeks free of charge.

Upcoming ARA Meeting: Addiction and Recovery Awareness on October 5th
The Addiction and Recovery Awareness @ TN Tech (ARA), a student-driven organization partnered with other state and regional agencies, raises awareness of use, abuse, and dependency on addictive substances. Additionally, ARA seeks to educate the community and provide resources and support for those in recovery through a variety of activities and peer support. The ARA Invites you to get involved in planning and promoting activities, educating the campus, and providing support for the TN Tech community. Membership is open to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff, and there are no dues. Now Enrolling Fall In-person Craft Workshops
Make plans now to stretch your creativity and attend on-campus, in-person, hands-on workshops at the Appalachian Center for Craft! A few seats are available in some of the October 16, workshops. Even if you have little or no experience, you can learn to create a glass paperweight, a ceramic box with a lid, or an enameled copper pendant.
