Career Spots are pop-up tabling events held by Career Ambassadors in areas across campus! You can drop-in for a quick chat and gather all kinds of information about Handshake, how to find examples of resumes/cover letters, and upcoming events held like career fairs. With Career Spots, there isn’t a need for an appointment but bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit. Check Handshake to see all the upcoming dates!

Packaging Corporation of America is based out of Lake Forest, IL, and is one of the largest integrated producers of corrugated packing in North America. International Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil
The Center for Addiction Prevention and Support invites you to join us August 29th (tonight) at 7 p.m. on the Quad to honor community members and students we have lost to drug overdose. Drug overdose reversal training will be on site! Come join us and other community partners on the Quad tonight at 7 p.m.

Adult Swim Clinic
The Exercise Science Department is offering a free 6-week Adult Swim Clinic for faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and community members on Monday evenings at the Memorial Gym Pool starting on September 9. If you are serious swimmer that wants to become a graceful swimmer or a beginner that is just learning to swim, I encourage you to sign up for the upcoming 6-week clinic. There will be three clinics offered including:
Intermediate/ Advance Swimmers: Mondays from 5:15- 6:15 pm.
Novice/ Beginner Swimmers: Mondays from 6:15- 7:15 pm.
Phobic Swimmers: Mondays from 7:15- 8:00 pm.

The College of Business COB Connect will be held in Foundation Hall, Room 238, on Thursday, August 29th, at 11:00 AM. Golden Eagle Women’s Golf Releases 2024-25 Schedule
The Tennessee Tech Women’s Golf team released their schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Golden Eagles start off Sept. 8-10 in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina and finish their fall campaign at the Mercer Invitational in Forsyth, Georgia Oct. 28-29.
The spring season will launch early March at Huntsville, Alabama followed by trips to Alabama, North Carolina, and ending the regular season in Knoxville.
The Golden Eagles are led by Head Coach Amanda Smith (3rd season) and Assistant Coach Polk Brown (3rd season).
