RSVP for the Tuesday, Feb. 1 Book Club meeting!
“No matter my origins, there is worth in what I am.”- Namina Forna, The Gilded Ones. Join us for book club as we read Namina Forna’s The Gilded Ones (2021), a bold, immersive feminist fantasy novel. Dr. Hunt (an English professor/giant book nerd) will lead book club on the first Tuesday of each month during dead hour. We’ll have snacks and coffee in the Women’s Center (RUC 339) from 11 a.m. – 11:50 a.m. RSVP through this link by January 31st to get on the list for updates.

2021 W-2 Availability
Electronic W-2s are now available online
Update on Electronic W-2s. First log into TechExpress (https://express.tntech.edu). Select “Eagle” button from the Quicklinks area. This will take you to Eagle Online. Select the Employee tab, and your W-2 is located under Tax Forms. Please note that your PIN is not required if you use Tech Express.
Paper W-2s were mailed January 24th for employees who did not consent to receiving the electronic version. Employees who wish to receive W-2’s electronically in the future can select Electronic Regulatory Consent in Tech Express under Tax Forms. We encourage employees to select Electronic Regulatory Consent as it reduces the risk of others obtaining your personal information through mail theft.

Cornerstone Government Affairs to Give Appropriations Presentation
Representatives from Cornerstone will be on campus on Thursday, January 27, to give a brief presentation on the Federal Appropriations Process. The presentation will take place in the Derryberry Hall Auditorium at 11:00 and is open to all.

Create unique gifts for your loved one(s) or bring them along to take a workshop. Geoprofessional community establishes scholarship in memory of Tech alum
For more than 40 years, Ed Wilson, P.E. was a colleague, mentor, leader and friend to many within the geoprofessional community. As a thank you to Wilson and to encourage the next generation of young earth sciences and civil engineering geoprofessionals, the Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA), with support from Wilson’s family, friends and colleagues, established the L. Edward Wilson Endowed Scholarship at Tennessee Tech.

The deadline to apply for graduation (undergraduates) for Summer 2022 is February 1. If you are intending to complete your degree in Summer 2022 and have not yet applied for graduation, you can apply directly from your Degree Works audit! You can access your degree audit by clicking on the DegWork link in Tech Express.

Join the College of Business for the spring semester’s Tech Talk series! This program features faculty/staff that have extraordinary stories or experiences to share…or maybe a unique hobby or interest. We will feature a different guest speaker each session, giving each 17 mins to present and allowing time for discussion, questions, etc.
Real connections with the TN Tech family of faculty and staff are becoming increasingly important in student persistence efforts. As you explore and engage in transformational experiences on campus, why not come see a side of us that is both engaging and potentially transformational.
