Tennessee Tech Football vs. Western Illinois
This Saturday, October 4, your Tennessee Tech Football team will take on Western Illinois at Tucker Stadium!
Tailgating begins at 9 a.m. Enjoy live music, a kid’s zone with inflatables, and performances by the Golden Eagle Cheer and Dance teams.
The student tailgate section is free for students and will be located on the north end of the tennis courts.

Hack Your Habits with the Launchpad Student Success Center
The Launchpad Student Success Center will host “Hack Your Habits” from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, in Room 111 in Bartoo Hall.
Students can easily give in to bad habits. Share this workshop with students you know who could benefit from it. Participants will learn simple, straightforward actions they can immediately take to improve their lives.

Dr. Joshua Hauser presenting a faculty Trombone recital
Dr. Joshua Hauser will present a faculty Trombone recital at 7:30pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2025in Wattenbarger Auditorium.
This exciting and diverse program will include works composed as early as 1730 and as recently as the summer of 2025. Featuring music by Camille Saint-Saëns, Antonio Vivaldi, Dayla Spencer, Brian Sadler, and Astor Piazzolla, Hauser will be joined by Josh Davis, Piano; Jeff Womack, Bassoon; Scott Johnson, Trombone; Jack Seger, Bass Trombone; Preston Light, Tuba and Cimbasso; and Colin Hill, Drums.

Hack Your Habits with the Launchpad Student Success Center

TTU Swim Club Annual 2.5K Open Water Swim
The Tennessee Tech Swim Club is hosting their Annual 2.5K Open Water Swim followed by a cookout at Floating Mill Park on Center Hill Lake on Friday, October 3 at 4 PM. Designing assessments that are clear, fair, and aligned with your learning goals can be challenging. In this workshop, we’ll explore how AI tools can support you in improving assessments—whether it’s drafting quiz questions, generating assignment prompts, refining instructions, or creating variations to reduce academic dishonesty. Recovery Ally Training
The Center for Addiction Prevention & Support is pleased to announce the launch of our Recovery Ally Training! This free online course is designed to help participants better understand substance misuse, addiction, recovery, and the vital role allies play in reducing stigma. The course is designed to be completed in one hour, but the learning modules can be completed at your preferred pace. It is open to anyone who wants to support the recovery community. Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the “Wings Up 100”. The Tennessee Tech Wings 100 is an annual recognition program for faculty who have secured a minimum of $100,000 in external research funding.
