Apply for Next Year’s Scholarships by December 15
The general scholarship application for the 2025-2026 academic year is available now through Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024. All students must complete this application in order to be eligible for over 700 Tennessee Tech scholarships for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 terms.
If you have a renewable departmental scholarship, you have to re-apply every year in order for that scholarship to be renewed!
To apply, log into Tech Express account and click on the diamond “ScholrWeb” icon in the QuickLinks area. For additional assistance and information, please visit the Scholarship Office website.

Broom Making Workshop at the Appalachian Center for Craft

Mark Your Calendar: TTAC Intro and Q&A Session on October 3rd!
TTAC (Tennessee Technology Advancement Consortium) will be hosting a Q&A session for faculty innovators on October 3rd from 11am-noon in RUC room 246. This will be an opportunity to meet our team and learn what resources are available to help you file an invention disclosure. Along with this, TTAC is offering a $100 incentive for faculty members who disclose by December 6th, so come to learn what steps you can take to meet this deadline! Light refreshments will be provided, see you there!

CyberEagles: CISA Guest Speaker
CyberEagles will be hosting Anastacia Webster from CISA at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, in Prescott Hall 215. Anastacia currently serves in the Academic Engagement Branch of the Stakeholder Engagement Division within CISA and oversaw Academic Programs such as CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service. Free lunch will be provided for attendees.

Panda Express Spirit Night Fundraiser- Sept 24
The Student Members of the American Chemical Society will be hosting a spirit night fundraiser at Panda Express (1020 S. Walnut Ave) on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. A portion of the sales will be donated to us if you show the flyer in the image or mention SMACS when ordering. If ordering online, use code 378975 in the fundraiser code box. The funds raised will go toward supporting student travel to conferences to present research. Quiz Bowl Interest Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 25
Students are invited to attend an interest meeting for a new student organization on Sept. 25, 2024 in Bartoo Hall 104 from 7-8 p.m. The main purpose of this meeting is to gauge student interest in a Quiz Bowl team as a student organization but there will be trivia at the end.
