“Beating The Blues” Seasonal Depression Workshop
Do you find yourself struggling with the sun setting at 4:00pm now? Is it harder to wake up in the mornings and find motivation? Let’s talk about it! Join the Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness at our seasonal depression workshop on Thursday, November 14th at 11:00am in the RUC room 387. We’ll talk about how the seasons changing impacts our mental health, coping skills, and engage in light therapy. All students are welcome!

Art Education Students and Professor Present at Conference
At the TN Art Education Association (TAEA) Fall Conference, held at MTSU, art education professor Jeremy Blair, along with his students Leona Phillips and Aimee Lawrence, co-led an insightful session titled Dialogue in the Classroom: Art Debates, Controversies, and Critical Thinking. This session equipped K-12 art teachers with practical strategies to foster respectful, engaging discussions around controversial art topics, helping K-12 students navigate complex social issues through critical thinking and open dialogue.

Raising Canes Spirit Night Fundraiser- Nov 12
The Student Members of the American Chemical Society will be hosting a spirit night fundraiser at Raising Cane’s (1100 Interstate Drive) on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 4-9 p.m. A portion of the sales will be donated to the chapter if you mention SMACS (or ACS) when ordering.
