In Spring 2027, the Goldwater Foundation will award scholarships covering eligible expenses for up to $7500 per year. Spend Spring 2027 gaining real-world experience at the Tennessee General Assembly in Nashville! This full-time, paid legislative internship offers 12 hours of academic credit, firsthand experience in state government, and opportunities to build relationships with state leaders. Talon Procurement Requestor Training
Talon Procurement Requestor Training is scheduled for September 24, 2026 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. This class covers the basics of how to create, edit, and withdraw purchase requisitions, view the purchase order lifecycle, create receipts, change orders, paying an invoice against a purchase agreement, using a payment request form, and creating contract requests.

Get ready to make your own handmade book! In this hands-on Coptic bookbinding workshop, you’ll dive headfirst into one of the world’s oldest and most gorgeous book-making traditions! Over a fun, craft-filled session, you’ll fold, punch, and thread your way to mastering the ancient Coptic chain stitch – an open-spine technique that looks complex but feels like magic once you get the rhythm. You’ll learn essential bookbinding skills, including grain direction alignment, paper folding, awl punching, and tension control, all while building custom hardcovers from scratch. 2026 Spirit Days Competition Winners have been announced! Thank you to all who participated in our Spirit Days Competition.
STEM Center – Gold Place: Winners will receive an award, a pop-up banner, a creative design for a tri-fold brochure and 500 printed copies of that creative.
The Post – Silver Place: Winners will receive an award, a pop-up banner, a creative design for a tri-fold brochure and 250 printed copies of that creative.
Crawford Alumni Center – Bronze Place: Winners will receive an award and a pop-up banner.
Crawford Alumni Center – Fan Favorite: Winners will receive a $1,000 credit at Tennessee Tech Printing Services.

Feature Film Casting Call
Feature Film Casting on campus! Come out Saturday, September 12th at the Backdoor Playhouse and audition for a part in a feature film shot here in Cookeville and premiering in December on campus.
