Tennessee Legislative Internship Spring 2027
Tennessee Legislative Internship Informational Meeting will be held Tuesday, September 1st, at 11am in Matthews Dan 204. Would you like the opportunity to participate in a full-time paid internship in Nashville at the Tennessee General Assembly for the Spring 2027 semester and to receive 12 hours of course credit? Apply Now for up to $20,000 in Grant Funding
The Rural Reimagined Faculty Grant Program offers TN Tech faculty members the opportunity to secure up to $20,000 in research funding to address rural challenges. All academic disciplines are encouraged to submit a proposal. The application window runs from Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through Friday, September 30, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.

Relaxation Hours EVERY Thursday
The Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness will be hosting “relaxation hours” during the semester every Thursday from 11:00am-12:00pm beginning on September 3rd. You will have access to our massage chair, red light therapy, Zen garden, napping mats, and a relaxing and supportive environment while you take a break in between classes. The relaxation hour will be in the Eagle Resource Room, RUC room 387. No sign up required – all students are welcome!

TN Tech Police: Ride Smart, Ride Safe
Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and other micro-transportation devices must be operated safely on campus. Yield to pedestrians, pass only when safe, travel on the right, obey traffic signals and stop signs, and do not use headphones while riding. On sidewalks or walkways, operate at pedestrian pace when pedestrians are present. Refer to Tennessee Tech Policy 191 for complete requirements.

College Fair Bus Traffic on McGee Boulevard on Wednesday, Aug. 26
Students, faculty and staff should expect increased bus traffic on McGee Boulevard in front of Hooper Eblen Center from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, due to the Upper Cumberland College Fair.
Those traveling to campus during this time are encouraged to avoid McGee Boulevard when possible and use an alternate route to help reduce congestion.
