Solidarity Statement from the Bangladeshi Student Association at Tennessee Tech

    18th July 2024

The Bangladeshi Student Association at Tennessee Tech University stands in solidarity with the student community in Bangladesh advocating for the quota reform system. We firmly support their demands for a fair and equitable system that ensures equal and justified opportunities for all.

We are deeply saddened and outraged by the violent actions taken against these students. Reports say 50 killed, thousands hurt. This brutality violates basic human rights. We urge the international community to support these students and ensure their voices are heard.

    In solidarity,
    BSA@TTU
    Cookeville, TN, USA
