Eagle Recovery Community
Please join us at The Center for Addiction Prevention and Support for peer support recovery meetings! Eagle Recovery Community Meetings will be held every Monday at 6pm and Thursday at 7pm throughout the fall semester. These meetings are intended for any young adult (18-29 years of age) and who are in or seeking recovery from addictions and/or mental health issues.
Location: TTU Regions Building – 10 W. Broad Street, Cookeville TN – on the 3rd floor.

Guest Author Stacey Levine
Center Stage welcomes author Stacey Levine on Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Backdoor Playhouse.
Stacey Levine is the author of five books of uniquely original voice-driven fiction. Her novel MICE 1961, concerns a young woman bullied for her albinism during the Cold War era. Levine’s short fiction collection MY HORSE AND OTHER STORIES won a PEN Fiction Award; THE GIRL WITH BROWN FUR, longlisted for The Story Prize, was also shortlisted for the Washington State Book Award, and her novel FRANCES JOHNSON was also shortlisted for the Washington State Book Award.

WEST Workshop 9/17: The Writing Process and Revision
Is this the semester when you stop letting your first draft be your final draft? Does your instructor keep telling you to revise your work, and you’re just not sure what they want? WEST, the Writing Excellence Studio at Tech, is here to help! On Tuesday, 9/17, we will host a dead hour workshop on the writing process and revision strategies. We will talk about organization, how to see your work with new eyes, and how to revise your papers like a professional writer. The workshop will be in Henderson Hall 304B. No registration is required, and all are welcome! And if you can’t make the workshop, schedule a a one-on-one session at our website. We look forward to working with you!

Tech Volleyball Hosts Annual Golden Eagle Invitational Presented by Holiday Inn
Cheer on your Tennessee Tech Volleyball team as they host their annual Golden Eagle Invitational Presented by Holiday Inn of Cookeville.
Tech will take on Nicholls State and West Georgia on Friday, September 13 at 12:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The games will continue Saturday, September 14 with the Golden Eagles hosting Radford at 2:00 p.m. Show your Tech pride by wearing purple on Friday and gold on Saturday. Admission is free for all fans!

Radiate Body Positivity Group
The Radiate Body Positivity group is a support group dedicated to fostering self-acceptance and celebrating diverse body types. We will challenge societal standards of beauty, share personal experiences, and encourage one another in embracing their unique bodies. The group is aimed at building confidence, promoting mental and physical well-being, and advocating for inclusivity and respect in all aspects of life. All students are welcome!
