Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments (NIFA) applications are open. NIFA are designed to contribute to the professional growth of faculty; improve teaching and curricula across the University; and/or enhance the scholarship and academic excellence of Tennessee Tech.
Important Dates: January 9, 2026 – Proposals due to Department Chairs/Directors; January 23, 2026 – Proposals due to Academic Affairs; February 13,2026 – Recipients and Chairs notified of awards.

On-Site Biometric Screening – Nov 11
There is still time to register for our final 2025 biometric screening for employees, spouses and retirees, enrolled in medical insurance through Partners for Health. This event will take place, November 11, in the RUC Tech Pride Room 101, from 8am-12:30pm. Please see the attached screening flyer for registration and incentive information. Course Evaluation Information Session with IARE – October 31
Get the most out of your course evaluations. The Office of Institutional Assessment, Research, & Effectiveness is hosting an online session about the IDEA course evaluation tool and the role of instructors in selecting the Student Learning Objectives most appropriate for their courses. When instructors select the most relevant objectives for their courses, IDEA reports provide a better evaluation for what occurs in the classroom. Research Series Mini Session: Streamlyne

The Launchpad Student Success Center will host “Finding Your Fit: Stories from Formerly Undecided Students” from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 23, in Room 106 in TJ FARR.
Upperclassmen students who struggled to find the “right fit” for their major will share their stories & tips with students currently doubting their major. Spring 2026 Course Materials Are Due October 24th
Course Material submissions for Spring 2026 are due Friday, Oct. 24th.
You may submit your information via AIP (Adoption and Insights Portal) AIP is located in Tech Express and is single sign on; so no more password to remember. 😀 To get to AIP you sign into your Tech Express and unlock the icons, you will then look for “BN AIP” ( it is green with a book logo) drag it up to your favorites and then relock your icons. When you click on the ‘BN AIP” it will bring you to our adoption system and list all of the classes the University SIS system has you teaching.
