    Eagle Works deadline 3/29 – compete for $15k+ in scholarships!

    Get ready to face the Tennessee Tech version of Sharks in the 10th Annual Eagle Works competition! Pitch your best idea to our panel of judges for a chance to win a piece of over $10K in scholarships!

    Create a team or work alone, get registered, and then get ready to create a short business summary (3-6 pages, due March 29) and 7-minute pitch that you’ll present in preliminary rounds (if needed) April 4th or 5th, and potentially the final round on April 15th!

    All the information you need is on the Eagle Works website at www.tntech.edu/eagleworks – so get registered and get ready for chance at the spotlight!

    Need help? Pitch practice and guidance will be available March 21 and 28 in the Makerspace starting at 4:30 p.m., and virtually on March 23 starting at 5 p.m. If none of those times work for you, please reach out to us and we can work something out!

    The Makerspace is on the third floor of Volpe Library. Use the north staircase (past the IT Help Desk) to access.

    Calling All Ladies in Civil Engineering! ALICE and DBIA Joint Meeting 

    All Ladies in Civil Engineering (ALICE) and Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) will be joint meeting on Thursday, March 23, at 11:00 am in PRSC 330. All ladies who are majoring in Civil Engineering or who would like to major in Civil Engineering are welcome to attend. There will be a guest speaker, Jamie Waller from TDOT, giving a presentation.     Spring Fling on the Quad

    This Saturday (March 25th) from 9am to 3pm, join us for a fun-filled day on the Quad supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities! Hosted by Alpha Delta Pi, Spring Fling will have something for everyone! With over 40 local vendors and food trucks, you are guaranteed to find something for you! Carnival games, pictures with the Easter bunny, and inflatables will also be available for families. Spring Fling is open to all students and community members, and it is FREE to attend!     Tonja Torgerson & Christa Carleton Discuss Body Politic

    The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery presents Body Politic, a collaborative print series by Tonja Torgerson and Christa Carleton. Together they challenge the conventional views that beleaguer gender roles through the figurative nude. “With our collaborative project Body Politic, we contribute our perspectives to a vast commentary set forth by our predecessors in intersectional feminism, and raise our voices in support of inclusive change.” Meet the artists on Thursday, March 23 at 4:30 p.m. in the Roaden University Center 124 for a gallery talk and reception. Join the Center for Career Development on Wednesday, March 22, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Roaden University Center Tech Pride Room for this Purple Career Readiness Workshop! Are you wondering how to construct the ultimate resume? Be sure to attend this workshop where Mr. Russ Coughenour, Center for Career Development Director, will share with you tips to build a professional resume!

    This event is open to all students and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card with you to receive credit for attendance.

    The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle Marching Band is excited to announce the return of the color guard as part of the band this fall!     Course Material Submissions for A23 & F23 due @ Bookstore March 24th

    We are at a submission percentage of  23%  for Summer and 19% for Fall.

    You can submit your course materials for both Summer and Fall in AIP (adoption information portal). AIP is located in Tech Express.

    If you are using the same material for both semesters, please make sure to put in an adoption for both terms! Course material information needs to be submitted by March 24th. Students begin Advisement on March 27th and Registering for classes on April 3rd. Per HEOA (Higher Education Opportunities Act) students should have access to the price of course materials when they begin registering for classes.

    If you need assistance accessing AIP please call the Bookstore 931-372-3131 and ask for Shannon, textbook manager. You can also email her at srdavis@bncollege.com and she can send you instructions.
