Have a dream course you’d like to teach— one not yet offered at Tech? Consider proposing an Honors Colloquium, a 3-cr. hr. discussion-based special topics course for Honors students. Informational forum on new Gen Ed recommendation March 25
The Gen Ed Implementation Committee will host an informational forum regarding its recommendation for Tech’s new Gen Ed program on March 25 at 11 a.m. in the Jere Whitson Building Auditorium.
The recommendation, along with other committee documents, can be found at https://www.tntech.edu/strategic/gen-ed-implementation.php. A link for virtual access to the forum will be available at this page.
The Gen Ed Final Recommendation will be presented to the University Curriculum Committee on March 27. If approved, it will go into effect Fall 2026.

Summer & Winter Breaks 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It is that time of year again. Nominations are currently being accepted for the Outstanding Clerical & Support Staff Awards and the Outstanding Professional Award. Awards are based on job performance, attitude toward University constituencies, commitment and service to the University, professional development, and suggestions for program improvements. Retirement Contribution Calculation Payroll Update
The Payroll Office would like to announce an update to 401k, 403b, and 457 contribution calculations. Eligible earnings have been updated to include overtime, extra pay, and summer pay. You may see an increase in your calculated contributions based on those earnings being included in the computation. This update is consistent with plan documents. If you have any questions or concerns, please call Jennifer Roberts at the Payroll Office, 931-372-3712.
